Galaxy S24 FE: The Starting Point

The Galaxy S24 FE established the modern FE formula with a large 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, 120Hz refresh rate, triple rear-camera system and Samsung's flagship-inspired design.

Its Exynos 2400e processor provides enough power for everyday applications, multitasking and gaming, while the 50MP primary camera brings optical image stabilisation to the main camera.

The biggest hardware limitations compared with the newer models are its 4,700mAh battery, 25W charging and heavier 213g body.

S24 FE advantage: If its current market price is significantly lower than the newer models, the S24 FE can still be a very attractive Galaxy option.

Galaxy S25 FE: The Practical Upgrade

The Galaxy S25 FE introduced several changes that users can actually notice in everyday use.

Battery capacity increased to 4,900mAh, while wired charging jumped from 25W to 45W. Samsung also managed to reduce the weight substantially, bringing the phone down to around 190 grams.

The processor moved to the Exynos 2400, while the front-facing camera increased to 12MP.

These changes make the S25 FE arguably the most interesting hardware refinement in the three-generation comparison.

Galaxy S26 FE: The Newest FE Generation

The Galaxy S26 FE continues the basic FE formula but introduces Samsung's newer Exynos 2500 processor and a newer software generation.

The 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display remains, as does the 4,900mAh battery and 45W charging.

The rear camera configuration is also broadly familiar, with a 50MP primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide and 8MP telephoto camera.

Instead of dramatically changing the hardware, Samsung's focus with the S26 FE is on refinement, newer processing hardware, software features and long-term usability.

Display: Which Galaxy FE Has the Best Screen?

Interestingly, this is one category where Samsung has kept things remarkably consistent.

All three phones feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

That means buyers should not expect a huge difference in basic display experience when moving from the S24 FE to the S25 FE or S26 FE.

Display verdict: All three remain excellent choices for users who prioritise AMOLED quality and smooth 120Hz scrolling.

Performance: S24 FE vs S25 FE vs S26 FE

Processor upgrades are where the three generations become easier to distinguish.

The S24 FE uses the Exynos 2400e, the S25 FE moves to the Exynos 2400, while the S26 FE uses the Exynos 2500.

For everyday use, all three should be capable smartphones. However, the S26 FE has the newest platform and is naturally the model to consider if maximum longevity and newer processing hardware are priorities.

Camera: Has Samsung Really Changed Anything?

The camera story is surprisingly similar across all three models.

Each generation uses a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

The front camera moves from 10MP on the S24 FE to 12MP on the newer generations.

Therefore, the biggest improvements in camera experience are likely to come from image processing and software rather than a complete change in the rear camera hardware.

Battery and Charging: The S25 FE Changed the Game

Samsung made a much more noticeable change in battery and charging between the S24 FE and S25 FE.

The S24 FE has a 4,700mAh battery with 25W charging. The S25 FE increased this to 4,900mAh and 45W charging.

The S26 FE retains the same 4,900mAh battery and 45W charging.

Important: If charging speed is important to you, the S25 FE already provides the major improvement. Moving from S25 FE to S26 FE does not bring another charging-speed jump.

Design and Weight

The biggest physical change arrived with the S25 FE.

The S24 FE weighs around 213 grams, while the S25 FE comes down to approximately 190 grams. The S26 FE is around 193 grams.

That makes both newer generations much more comfortable than the heavier S24 FE for users who frequently hold their phone for extended periods.

Which Galaxy FE Should You Buy?

Galaxy S24 FE Best if you find it at a major discount and want the core Galaxy FE experience for less money.
Galaxy S25 FE Best balance of hardware, charging, battery capacity, lightweight design and price.
Galaxy S26 FE Best for buyers who want the newest processor, software generation and longest-term relevance.

MobileIndya Verdict

The S25 FE may be the sweet spot — but the S26 FE is the obvious choice if the price gap is small.

Looking at three generations together, Samsung's FE strategy becomes clear. The company has not completely redesigned the series every year. Instead, it has gradually refined the experience.

The jump from the S24 FE to the S25 FE brought some of the most noticeable everyday improvements, particularly the lighter body, larger battery and much faster 45W charging.

The S26 FE is more evolutionary. Its biggest advantages are the newer Exynos 2500 processor, latest software generation and updated Galaxy AI experience.

For buyers shopping purely on value, a heavily discounted Galaxy S24 FE should not be ignored. The S25 FE is arguably the most balanced choice if its price sits comfortably below the S26 FE.

But if the price difference between the S25 FE and S26 FE is relatively small, choosing the newer S26 FE makes more sense for someone planning to keep the phone for several years.

In short: S24 FE for value, S25 FE for balance, and S26 FE for the newest Galaxy FE experience.

MobileIndya Quick Take

Galaxy S24 FE: The value option when discounted.

Galaxy S25 FE: The most interesting middle ground.

Galaxy S26 FE: The best choice for buyers wanting the newest generation and latest software.
