The POCO F9 Pro and POCO F9 Ultra are about to become the latest members of POCO's performance-focused F-series. The company is expected to officially introduce both smartphones on September 1, but pricing information has already started circulating online.
A new leak from the Philippines reportedly reveals the expected pricing of the two upcoming models. While the information gives us an early idea about POCO's strategy, the figures should still be treated as unofficial until the company confirms them.
The bigger story is not simply the price itself. The F9 Pro and F9 Ultra appear to be designed to target two different groups of buyers — those looking for high-end performance at a relatively aggressive price and those willing to pay more for the company's most premium F-series hardware.

🎯 Why the POCO F9 Series Could Be Important

Performance is likely to remain one of the biggest selling points of the F-series.
Aggressive pricing could give POCO an advantage over conventional flagships.
Performance-focused buyers and gamers are likely to be a major audience.

🇮🇳 What About India?
Indian smartphone buyers will naturally be interested in whether the POCO F9 Pro and F9 Ultra will make their way to the Indian market.
However, Philippines pricing should not be directly converted into an expected Indian retail price. Taxes, memory configurations, distribution costs, promotional offers and regional pricing strategies can all affect the final figure.
No official Indian pricing should be assumed from the current leak. Wait for a POCO India announcement before treating any India price as confirmed.
🤔 Should You Wait for the POCO F9?
If you're planning to buy a performance-oriented smartphone in the coming weeks, waiting for the official F9 announcement could be worthwhile.
The launch will give buyers a clearer picture of the processor, camera system, display, battery, charging technology and — most importantly — the final price.
Don't make a purchase decision based solely on a leaked price. Compare the official specifications and launch offers once POCO announces the phones.
POCO Is Ready to Raise the F9 Stakes
The POCO F9 Pro and F9 Ultra are shaping up to be important additions to POCO's performance-focused smartphone portfolio.
The leaked Philippines pricing suggests that POCO could be creating a wider gap between its Pro and Ultra models, giving buyers a choice between premium performance and a more ambitious flagship experience.
But the real test will come when the official specifications and prices are revealed. POCO has historically relied heavily on the value equation, and the F9 series will need to maintain that advantage to stand out in an increasingly competitive smartphone market.
The F9 series is definitely worth watching. If POCO combines flagship-level performance with aggressive pricing, the F9 Pro and F9 Ultra could become two of the most talked-about performance smartphones of the season.
