Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Gets a Massive ₹49,500 Price Cut
Samsung's ultra-slim 200MP camera flagship is suddenly much more affordable. The Galaxy S25 Edge, originally launched at ₹1,09,999, is now being listed around ₹60,500 for the 12GB + 256GB model.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Price in India
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has received a dramatic price reduction in India. The smartphone originally arrived with a starting price of ₹1,09,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration.
Current listings are showing the same configuration at around ₹60,500, representing a reduction of almost ₹49,500 from the launch price.
The exact selling price can vary depending on the retailer, available stock, payment offers and ongoing promotions. Buyers should therefore check the final price before purchasing.
One of Samsung's Thinnest Flagships
The Galaxy S25 Edge was designed around one major idea: deliver flagship performance in an exceptionally thin and lightweight body.
At just 5.8mm thick and approximately 163 grams, the phone is considerably slimmer and lighter than many conventional flagship smartphones.
The titanium frame adds a premium touch while helping Samsung maintain the phone's slim profile.
Photography remains one of the Galaxy S25 Edge's biggest attractions. Samsung uses a 200MP primary sensor alongside its image-processing technology and AI-powered camera features.
The camera system is accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide camera, while selfies and video calls are handled by a 12MP front camera.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Delivers Flagship Performance
The thin design does not mean Samsung has gone for a mid-range processor. The Galaxy S25 Edge is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy and comes with 12GB of RAM.
That combination is designed for demanding applications, multitasking, high-end gaming and other performance-intensive workloads.
QHD+ 120Hz AMOLED Display
The Galaxy S25 Edge features a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The high refresh rate makes scrolling and animations smoother, while the high resolution provides sharp text and detailed visuals.

The Big Compromise: Battery
The biggest compromise of the Galaxy S25 Edge is its battery capacity. Samsung has fitted the ultra-thin flagship with a 3,900mAh battery.
The phone supports 25W wired charging and wireless charging, but buyers who prioritise maximum battery endurance may find other flagship smartphones more suitable.
This is essentially the trade-off for the phone's exceptionally slim and lightweight construction.

MobileIndya Verdict
The Galaxy S25 Edge was an unusual flagship when Samsung launched it. Its ultra-thin design and premium hardware came with a premium price, making the compromises harder to overlook.
At around ₹60,500, however, the smartphone becomes considerably more interesting. Buyers are getting a Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered flagship, 12GB RAM, a QHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display and a 200MP primary camera in an exceptionally thin body.
The battery remains the biggest weakness. If long battery life is your top priority, there are better choices. But if design, portability, display quality and flagship performance matter more, this price cut makes the Galaxy S25 Edge a much more compelling option.
